142: It’s Better to Overwork
Behind all the motivational talks I give you, when you get to the end of all the theories, all the philosophy, all the mental preparation, it’s all going to lead to one thing. That you’re going to have to do the work! Don’t worry about not having the perfect routine. Stop worrying about this crystal staircase in your mind. Just get to the gym! Do it today! It’s better than inaction. Navy seals recover just fine with very little sleep and lots more training than you do, while you’re worried about getting eight hours of sleep every night. Trust me, you are much better off overworking in this world than underachieving.
