#56 – Mental Fitness
Dan Gable was probably the best athlete/coach combo of all time. He went undefeated in high school. In college, he lost his very last match which fueled him to become the best international wrestler ever. He didn’t let up a point in the Olympics – a feat that will probably never be matched. Gable attributes his success to seizing opportunities in front of him. Navy Seals go through the cold water training they do to control the reaction instead of letting the reaction control them. And just like how you can train your body to achieve a peak physical fitness, you can achieve a peak mental fitness as well.
