When you perform an activity for the first time, there’s often beginner’s luck. You just perform the activity with your body, and focus on what you need to accomplish. Then you start overthinking, and start to regress. You get to a point where you sort of start back in the beginning. You get back to doing the exact same thing that you were doing in the beginning with that beginner’s luck, but now you’re aware of it. So you make little tweaks to get to where you want to be. Kobe Bryant says, “You have to be predictable if you want to be unstoppable.” You must go to the basics, and properly prepare.
